The most common pier used in foundation repair is the hydraulic driven, exterior steel pier. Repairing a home's exterior foundation is a labor-intensive process in which we excavate around the footing of your home by hand in order to minimize the damage that machinery can cause to your landscaping. This is the safest and most effective way to achieve the desired repairs while protecting your home.
The next step in the repair process is to use the weight of the structure and hydraulically drive each individual piece of pipe to make sure we hit bedrock or equivalent load bearing strata which is the most important step in the process.
Once this is completed, we stabilize the footing and mortar the tuck point. A final Foundation Inspection is performed to ensure every problem area has been addressed and repaired leaving your home stable once more!
In some cases, you have to pier the slab from inside the home, by accessing the home's interior piers. Various types of piers are used, whether it be concrete piers, steel piers, or a combination of the two, every situation is different and requires a repair plan suitable to that home's topography and soil.

Crawl Space Repair
